Friendswood, Tx

Friendswood was founded in 1895 by Quakers to establish a farming community known as Quakers of Friends along the gulf coast. It was part of the late-nineteenth-century Westwood movement.
By the 1920s, figs had become a popular crop in the area, resulting in an influx of farms. The 1930s brought displaced settlers, and oil fields on the outskirts of town created jobs.
This town has a strong volunteer tradition and a diverse population. Come to Friendswood, Texas, and use this list of the best locations in the city.
